Happy Days!

Since the Voluntary Retirement Incentive has been going on over the last several months we have seen many friends leave the mission field.  It's has been so hard to see so many leave.  Today, however, was a happy day as we welcomed the Barnes family to Malawi.  Also, in Mozambique the Montanher family arrived in Maputo.  We are thankful for these two families who arrived to serve in the Zambezi Cluster.

Nairobi, Kenya
We are Suzie and Kevin Rodgers. We served as IMB Missionaries from 1997-Oct 2016 in Zambia. We have 3 children: Zach(26), Justin(23), and Hannah(18). They each had the privilege of growing up overseas. Zach graduated in May, 2014 with a degree in Cinematic Arts from Liberty. He married his college sweetheart, Megan, March 14th, 2015. Justin graduated from Liberty University May 2017 and is working in MN in aviation mechanics. Hannah is in boarding school in Kenya and beginning her senior year. We recently were asked to move to Kenya so after much prayer we left our home of 19 years and moved in October of 2016. We are looking forward to all that God is going to do in and through us throughout this term. Hope you enjoy this blog. It is just a journal of our life in Africa-the good and the sometimes bad. Hopefully, this blog will be as if you are looking through a window into our lives and the adventure that God has called us to.
