Hannah turned 13 Dec. 8th. We were traveling on that day but because of one cancelation we were able to have a small birthday party for her at my parents house.
My mom and dad gave her 13 gifts and so did we. It was a real special day!
My mom made her a red velvet cake. It was delicious!

Nice to see that Hannah had a lovely birthday celebration with her loved ones. I also prefer small and simple celebrations like these but my son has insisted that he wants a big party for his birthday next week. So we have obliged to his wished and will be arranging a party at one of the Chicago event venues.
