29 mk's go to a local village

Can you imagine taking 29 kids anywhere? On this day, we took them all to a local village but split them into two groups. I went with the older group, so sorry, I don't have any pics. of the younger group. We had two women who took us around their big village and showed us many things. The pics. below will show you just some of the things we were able to see, touch, taste, and experience. I'm not sure if this village will ever be the same!

This is the older group of mk's at the village with Amai Kennedy.

We did a lot of walking because this is a big village.

Children carrying water on their heads.

These mk's had a chance to get the kernals off the maize.

This is a pile of sunflower seeds drying in the sun.

This woman was shelling groundnuts. She stopped to offer the children some.

The mk's got to pound some groundnuts as well. Here, Gavin is taking a turn.
