Update

In a previous post I mentioned that Pastor Lungu, one of our helpers during 40/40 was injured in a bike . A few days after I sent out that prayer request he died. Here is an update I received from a friend. "Pastor Lungu was a member of Bauleni Baptist Church from the early 80s. While he was serving as a deacon, the church recognized his spiritual gifts and recommended that he attend the Non-residential Pastors Training School at the Seminary. He not only completed his course, but he provided for his wife, Alice, to attend the women’s program of the Seminary for its three-year course. He was assisting with the 40/40 program last week. He was injured in a bicycle last Thursday when a man running from a swarm of bees struck the pastor as he was returning from his garden. He died Monday, leaving his wife, 7 children, a nephew and one grandchild who were in his care. Please pray for this family and the two church families as well as other friends. Pray also for the other man in the that he will know God’s purposes for his life. He has been released from the hospital."
Kevin and Ebby Musika was able to travel back to Lusaka for the burial. Please pray for this family as they deal with this sudden loss and that God would give them great comfort during this time.
