I don't always get to see my kids or my mom on Mother's Day since we live in Africa. This year I was able to have breakfast with my oldest son and his wife. We enjoyed eating at Cracker Barrell.
Then we left Lynchburg and traveled to Elon to spend time with my Mom and Dad.
She fixed a lovely salad for lunch. Then for dinner we had steaks on the grill. It sure was good to enjoy her home cooking!
This is a hand woven wool rug I had made for her in Kenya.
I am blessed to have such a wonderful mother!
