Kevin, Daddy, and Zach left to go hunting on Monday. So we decided to have a little girl fun! We went to the mall and looked in the shops.
We ate dinner at Ciao Baby-it is an Italian restaurant. |
Then we came home and did an avocado facial. Gram read from the book all about it. We had candles lit and soft music playing. |
You are supposed to leave it on for 15 min. and relax. We had so much fun taking pictures and laughing at ourselves that we had to add a few min. to just relax! |
Aren't we beautiful?? |
We didn't really lick the avocado off of her face we just pretended! |
Isn't she angelic?
a few min. relaxing |
washing it all off
Then afterwards we did foot massages. It was a good day!
Here is the recipe in case you would like to try it too:
Carrot,
Avocado and Cream Nourishing Mask
The
combination of carrot(high in beta-carotene and anti-oxidant vitamins), heavy
cream(high in calcium and protein) and avocado(a rich source of vitamin E) in
this facial makes will improve skin texture, diminish age spots and rebuild skin
collagen when used with regularity.
Recipe:
½ cup heavy
cream
1 carrot,
cooked and mashed
1 avocado,
peeled, pitted and mashed
3 Tblsp.
honey
Combine
ingredients in a bowl and spread over face and neck. Relax for 15 min. Rinse with cool water.
The thicker
the clay of the mask, the more intense the action on the skin.
An avocado
pit makes a natural massage tool: rub it and roll it against your skin to sooth
tired muscles.
