Victoria Falls

Last week we visited Victoria Falls in Livingston.  If you have never been you should plan a trip because it is spectacular!  Pictures just don't do it justice.  You have to see it for yourself.

This is up at the top of the falls.

So proud of my mom for doing things that may be scary for her.

My mom and Dad in front of the falls.

 Rodgers Family

Hannah and I brought our own rain coats and the others rented these.  Yes, they look a little goofy but they stayed drier than me and Hannah.  We were soaked all the way through by the end of it!

There was so much spray that we couldn't see real well on parts of it.

Daddy

When we crossed the bridge Daddy's Tilley hat flew off.  He didn't seem to mind too much but we were all upset about it.  So on our way back across the bridge Zach zoomed with his camera under the bridge and saw it.  He and Kevin thought they could go down to the bottom and get it.  They got close but not close enough.  A Zambian guide volunteered to go and get it for 20,000 kwacha.  Amazingly enough, he actually got it!  This picture above is of Zach returning Daddy's Tilley hat.

This view of the falls is from the bridge that people like to Bungee jump.

Daddy acting like he was scared!

My mom is afraid of heights and she walked across this big bridge.  She also walked across the bridge when we were looking at the falls.  She didn't think she could do it but she did with Kevin holding her hand all the way across.  I'm so proud of her!

One foot in Zimbabwe and one in Zambia!

I went over and stood on the Zim. side.
